Honest post: I spent the last few years pretty cynical about all of it. Flags made me roll my eyes. But something about everybody on this Wall just... deciding to love each other on purpose? Got me. My reach was my roommate — we'd been icy since March over political stuff. We watched the fireworks from our roof and I read her half this Wall out loud off my phone. We're done letting anybody take our love and run. Both of us submitted tonight. Hi from the roof.
